Test for Chloride in Drinking Water
What is chloride?
Almost all natural waters contain chloride. Concentrations vary considerably according to the mineral content of the earth in any given area. In small amounts they are not significant. In large concentrations they present problems. Usually chloride concentrations are low. Low to moderate concentrations of chloride add palatability to water. In fact, they are desirable for this reason. Excessive concentrations of chloride can make water unpleasant to drink.
Your test kit will include a sample bottle and easy to follow sample collection instructions. When testing is complete, a report will be issued identifying any problems detected with your sample.
